Thank you for sharing your pictures. I had Mrs. Butler. Of course we were never together at Sidney Lanier since my last name began with "B" and yours "S". In our class I remember George Cate was always getting a knot on his head. Someone was constantly running to the cafeteria for ice. Diane Cox (don't know what happened to her) DID NOT want to be at school and would throw tantrums and push her desk over. We would sit there in amazement of her behavior. We also made a "town". I owned the florist. I also remember sitting in the reading circle with Mrs. Butler holding that "HUGE" Dick and Jane book with one word on each page.
